World Book Day In Primary Two
What a fantastic day we had in primary two celebrating World Book Day. We began our morning with some fun carousel activities whereby each table was named after a book. We had fun planting our ‘magic’ beans at our fairy-tale table and can’t wait to see what grows! We designed our very own Star Wars spaceship at the Lego table and made our very own ‘Wish Jar’s from the book the BFG at the Roald Dahl table. We made some delicious Gruffalo treats at the Gruffalo table.
The children all brought in their own favourite book and we did a piece of writing as to why we love these books. We had great fun doing this and some fantastic writing was done! We finished off our day with a quiz on books we have read!
We have started our very own class book to encourage as much writing as possible, we already have a few pieces of writing in our book already! And hopefully we will have many more! We hope you enjoy our photos!
