Walking Rainbow Experiment!
Our P2 children have been interested in the change of the seasons recently. We have been speaking about how spring has arrived and of how we can see changes in the trees and plants. We have noticed they are beginning to show signs of regrowth. This lead us to discussing how trees and plants get food and water from the ground to help them grow.
The children have also been interested in the rainbows and finding the leprechauns pot of gold!
So it was the perfect opportunity to introduce our walking rainbow experiment!
Our little scientists loved making the predictions and watching the coloured water move. The rainbow developed over the course of the day... it was very exciting to watch!
