The Old Irish Goat Project
A busy week for P5 as we attended Mullaghbane PS with Mulranny National school to take part in 4 fantastic activities to celebrate the Old Irish Goat and how we are linked with this animal. We learned in class about how Michael J Murphy told of the pahvee people from South Armagh who walked the goats to Mayo and travelled across the water to England.
To celebrate the link of heritage we took part in movie making with the AMMA centre, making old Irish villages in Mindcraft with Emma Clare, glass art with Tracey Mc Verry and textile art with Mrs O Hanlon from ROGHA.
We had a fantastic day and made lots of new friends whilst learning new skills.
