Slieve Gullion Landscape Partnership
26th Sep 2017
The Slieve Gullion Landscape Partnership works with communities and schools to develop their natural habitat and encourage indigenous species. The volunteers held a planning meeting this morning in Dromintee PS and worked to prepare Gairdín Eva into a sensory experience for the pupils. The Eco Council will work with the Landscape Partnership over the next few weeks to plant fruit trees, damson, plum, elder and apple. Herbs such as lavender and rosemary will be grown. The Eco council will measure the beds to plant wildflowers. All of the pupils in Dromintee PS will benefit from this partnership work.
