Pastoral Care Council
Members of the Board of Governors and publicly elected representatives were invited to a presentation by the Pastoral Care Team in Dromintee Primary School. They, and the pupils, heard of the outstanding work being done by the team to combat bullying through their training and subsequent work as Anti-Bullying Ambassadors. They have introduced practices in school to help all pupils feel safe and some measures to enhance pupil wellbeing. Megan Fearon, past pupil, gave the team their Pastoral Care Council badges and commended them on their innovative and enterprising work. Stephen Begley, deputy Chairman of the Governors, affirmed the pastoral care team and said how much he had enjoyed learning about their work. On behalf of the Governors he thanked the team and Mrs Fiona Fearon for coordinating their work.
