We had lots to celebrate in our Easter assembly today. Well done to the newly appointed Tech Team, who is made up of 7 members from P6 and P7. The committee will be taking mini lessons to share their ICT skills to others and also making sure all ICT equipment is charged and ready to use.
The term 2 AR reading challenge was won by the P6 class after a tight competition from P3, P4, P5 and P7. The class achieved a great accuracy result of 92%. Well done to all classes for excellent reading ove rth e6 week period and we hope P6 enjoy their Easter eggs.
The winners of the guess the pig got to choose their chocolaty treat from a lovely selection of large Easter eggs. All the guesses where very accurate and we even had one pupil with a guess £1.42 out of the actual amount. The pig had £451.42 in it and this money will be passed on to past pupil Cormac Mc Keever, as he goes to Cambodia in July to build a school. The 50p guess amount for Trocaire was an amazing £285.00! Thank you to all those who supported two worth while causes.
Well done to the P1-P7 winners for the mindfulness colouring in competition. Lots of beautiful work produced.
