Road safety week took place this week.
In P1 we were learning all about how to stay safe when walking alongside roads, what we need to look out for, how to cross roads safely and who can help us.
We talked about our lollipop lady and coloured some brilliant pictures to show her special bright yellow coat and lollipop stick.
During the week we also put our new learning into practice on a walk to Dromintee Chapel. We wore high visibility vests, walked carefully with our partners and looked for safe places to cross. We used the zebra crossing at the entrance to our school to get across the road safely too.
