The Primary 5’s current topic in the subject World Around Us is ‘Vikings’. Today we had our very own Vikings challenge. We separated ourselves into four teams, the team names that were chosen were:
- Team Runes
- Viking Warriors
- Thor
- Team War
Each team had three rounds to complete. The first round involved baking ‘Viking Bread’ together we displayed excellent team work. Round two consisted of ‘Battle of the Ships’ whereby the children had to work together and create their own Viking Longboat. They did an excellent job! Third and final round involved a few fun games outside. Team Thor won with 22 point followed by a close second from team Runes with 21. Team War finished 3rd with a point score of 20 and Viking warriors finished with 19 points. A great day’s fun.
