We had a total of 22 candidates ranging from P4-7 pupils, who put themselves forward for the Pastoral Care Team this year. This is the first year that P4 pupils have been eligible as team members. This follows responses gained from the P4 pupils of 2018-2019 survey, who suggested it would be beneficial for P4 pupils to be included in the team.
As in previous elections each candidate had to secure 2 nominations from their classmates to support, produce a campaign poster and deliver a 1-minute speech to their peers. Once again we had such a high standard from each candidate. Well done to all our candidates who displayed such great confidence putting themselves forward for election.
We have 10 new candidates elected on to the team this year, with 5 team members remaining from last year. Thank you to these team members, who will be involved in helping train our new members as Anti-Bullying Ambassadors. Your skills and knowledge will greatly help. We look forward to another very productive year!
