EA have developed Transition Resources to offer pupils the opportunity to reflect on their time at school and support them in preparing to transition to a new class or school setting. These resources include:
• Two ‘Getting Ready for Primary One’ booklets. One to help school staff connect with their new pupils and one to help parents get their child ready for their next adventure
• ‘My New Class’ pupil booklet for class-to-class transition
• ‘My Book of Memories’ booklet for Primary 7 pupils to reflect on their time in Primary School
• ‘My New School’ pupil booklet for transition to Post Primary
• ‘The Next Step’ booklet for parents and Primary 7 pupils to work through together
