We have been so busy the past few weeks and took lots of our learning outdoors! We went on a maths trail around the school, practised some of our sounds in the playground and had a number and letter hunt to find the number 5 and letter i in our P1 playground. We love PE time with Conor and Niall and we have really enjoyed using the new iPads to play sound games: Hairy Letters and Pocket Phonics. At number time we have been learning about time concepts: language associated with day and night and we have been chatting about measure. We sorted our bubble groups into height order from smallest to tallest/ tallest to shortest.
We thank all the parents who have sent us fantastic clips via the class seesaw app telling us all about their jobs! We learnt lots of new information about the life of a nurse, a fireman, a teacher, a lorry driver, a zoologist, a creche manager, a dentist, dog groomer and hair dresser.
