We have been reading the book Handa's Surprise in P3 and in it Eileen Browne tells us about the seven fruits which Handa takes to her friend Akeyo. She describes each fruit using an adjective. We have been smelling, touching and tasting some fruits to help us create our own bank of adjectives for our fruit list poems. The juicy jaggy pineapple seemed to be the most popular fruit in Primary three!
