To celebrate Maths Week 2019, the primary 7 pupils have been taking part in different activities every day. On Monday we did our Maths Mile in the hall,( it was too wet to go outside) using a trundle wheel to measure our mile.
Today Martin O'Rourke, PE teacher in St. Pauls and a coach in Dromintee GAA, came to talk to the P7 pupils about how maths is so important in different sports. The children really enjoyed asking him questions and finding out how as a coach, he uses different statistics to get the best from his players.
