We are delighted to announce we are taking part in this years schools competition to celebrate the Belfast city marathon. As part of our eco schools status we strive to ensure our children are engaged in physical activity at school. Our classes take part in the Daily Mile programme and on Thursday 26th January we are holding a special “ fancy dress sports person” daily mile. Children are encouraged to wear sports gear that day. Maybe dressing up like their favourite Armagh star, soccer player, tennis champ, horse rider or become a karate kid.
We will take on a fun obstacle course daily mile that day and each class will get some fruit and water on completion of their mile.
We look forward to another fun event, brilliantly planned by our hard working eco committee.
