The Primary 7 pupils participated in the Mass which was led by Fr Seamus and Deacon Martin. The packed church heard Fr Seamus’ interesting review of the 7 years which the pupils had attended weekly Mass in the church. He focussed on the achievements of the past year and the congregation was very proud of the children’s accomplishments. Afterwards the families came back to school for a continental breakfast and an appreciation speech from Mrs McKeown. She told the pupils that the door was always open to them. If they ever hit a bump in the road and they’re not sure where to turn, come back through the school doors and you have many people here who care for you. The P7 pupils presented a concert afterwards for the other pupils. They had organised, directed and participated fully themselves. They finished with a poem. There was great reluctance to leave after the school day ended. We will miss the class of 2019!
