On Monday afternoon all the children took part in a 'Child Safety on Farms' session with an officer of the PSNI. He taught us how to keep safe on a farm, especially with hidden dangers like the slurry tank.
The children enjoyed the session and learnt a lot about staying safe on farms.
Each child was awarded a certificate for taking part.
This fulfils criteria within the NI curriculum under Personal Development and Mutual Understanding(PDMU) -
Strand 1; Personal Understanding and Health.
