Today in P2 our children had lots of fun experimenting with weight. First we had to see if we could get our scales to balance using the rainbow rice. It was very tricky...sometimes we had too much...sometimes not enough, but we worked together as a team and made both side equal so they balanced.
Then we worked with a partner to extended our fun and see which pot felt heavier and which pots felt lighter. We had lots of giggles while we discussed why we thought things would be heavier or lighter or nearly the same.
