The Eco Committee have devised some activities that Dromintee PS will be involved in next week to support waste reduction week. They shall be presenting these ideas to the school at an assembly later on in the week.
Their timetabled events are
Monday- 20 minute paper less lesson
Tuesday- Litter less lunch or litter less snack
Wednesday- 45 minute power down in the classroom
Thursday- Junk art gallery winners announced
Friday - classroom activities
Parents can support these events by encouraging your child to have a litter less lunch/ snack on Tuesday 20th November. Ideas could be to pack sandwiches in a reusable container or take more fruit.
Junk art can be completed at home and brought into school to be displayed at the front door.
We look forward to next week and spreading the message of Reduce- Reuse- Recycle.
