The P6 and P7 got together today to hear from four very confident and intelligent young ladies who delivered their presentation " A day in the life of an Eco Warrior". The girls researched and prepared their own speech that had to last between 3 - 5 minutes to be considered to represent Dromintee PS in Downpatrick at the Annual Environmental Youth Speak on Tuesday 26th March.
The girls delivered their speeches in the classes and a secret vote saw Niamh being chosen as our school representative. A great choice by the p6 and p7 children, as Niamh is the chairperson on our school Eco Committee.
The quality and content of all the girls work was exceptional and Mr Flood and Mrs Murray were glad the decision was not up to them!
Well done to Alanna, Ellie, Niamh and Emily and we wish Niamh best of luck in the Downpatrick competition.
