To celebrate European Waste Reduction week which begins on 16th November, the eco committee want to have a swap shop in each classroom. To ensure this is a success it is vital each child brings in something to swap and they can get a new item in return. We are looking to swap unwanted DVD's/ CD's/books/ games/ comics/ toys etc..... This is a great way to promote reduce, reuse and recycle.
Also we are having a week long class competition, to see which class used the most reusable water bottles. Our aim is that we can cut back on plastic bottles and use a more sustainable option of the reusable bottles. So please try to encourage your child to use these bottles.
