In our first meeting the eco committee got down to business straight away and organised our activities for energy saving week which we will be running on Monday 24th-Friday 28th October in DPS.
With the rising costs of heating and electricity we will be doing our bit to monitor consumption in school. The children will be monitors and have given tips to us all to follow so please check out their video clip.
On Wednesday 26th October from 9am-11.30am, we will be having a “black out morning” so no whiteboards, CD players, photocopiers and kettle -sorry teachers! The eco committee had said teachers can complete lessons without the use of electric.
