The Eco Council selected the winners from the classes P1 – P7 in the design a poster competition. The themes were to encourage children and adults to put paper, plastic and cans into blue bins OR to set up a battery recycling station OR to encourage people to take clothing to a clothing bank OR to encourage pupils and adults to use a brown bin for food recycling. The winners are pictured with members of the Eco Council. Mrs Murray is pictured giving the fairtrade chocolate Easter egg prizes to the children. Mrs Murray will be coordinating the Eco council in term 3 as the school moves towards it’s green flag status. She takes over from Mrs McKeown who has been ‘holding the fort’ and has loved working with the Eco Council.
