The eco committee were very busy at our second meeting this year. James, Neil and Ronan created a brilliant eco code for our school. We made posters and discussed our plans for energy saving week which runs from Monday 19th - Friday 22nd November.
The eco committee will be monitoring the electrical devices or plugs/switches left on in our school at break and lunch times. On Friday 22nd November we will be holding a ‘black out morning’ between 9-11 this means no electrical devices can be used and all lessons must be completed without the use of electric, this will be quite a challenge.
We also made posters for an upcoming eco event on 6th December, The Daily Mile Santa Run. All pupils should have their Christmas jumpers and Santa hats at the ready.
