Dromintee Primary School Welcomes Mrs Teresa Murray
DROMINTEE PRIMARY SCHOOL WELCOMES MRS TERESA MURRAY
In term 3 we are being joined by a new permanent member of staff, Mrs Teresa Murray. Mrs Murray will be teaching the P5 children in term 3, with a view to taking them into P6 next year. She comes with a wealth of experience and with an excellent reputation. We were very lucky as a school family to secure her services.
Mrs Murray has sent this message to the P5 children and their families.
“I am very excited to be joining such a welcoming school community in Dromintee PS and feel privileged to be working in such beautiful surroundings of Slieve Gullion.
I graduated from St Marys Belfast with an honours degree in Geography and then completed a Masters in Educational Multimedia in QUB the following year. I have been teaching for 12 years in both key stages but have spent the past three years teaching P6 classes.
In previous schools I have experience in coordinating World Around Us, Shared Education and Eco Club and relish the opportunity to further immerse myself in activities in Dromintee PS.
I am a mother of 4 young children and understand the importance of positive educational experiences and look forward to working with your children”.
I know you will give Mrs Murray the warmest welcome when she joins us on 9th April.
