We had a fantastic day at summer scheme. The weather was a wash out but that didn’t dampen our spirits.
The art produced today was first class. The children made baskets, bird houses, rain makers and frames.
The children took part in mindfulness activities, practising breathing techniques and listening to relaxing music. They produced beautiful mindful pictures and great care and concentration went into those. We had two winners who got a prize for their efforts.
And did you know we have star bakers in our school?! The rocky road buns were delicious! We enjoyed them and a popcorn treat watching a movie at the end of the day.
