DPS welcomed back past pupil Cormac Mc Keever today as he gave two presentations to the P6 and P7 classes and then P4 and P5 classes about his month long adventure in Cambodia. Cormac travelled to Cambodia as part of a team of 11 youths in his summer holiday. The stories he told of painting schools, teaching children English, making water pots, scuba diving and eating spiders were fascinating and the children had a great morning hearing about this wonderful trip. Last school year DPS collected over £600 to help enable Cormac to go on this trip to help this developing country, as part of our Eco schools theme- Global Perspective.
It really helps us be more grateful for what we are blessed with. Cormac once again expressed his thanks to the pupils, parents and staff for their donations.
