COP26 leaves
21st Oct 2021
Down High School appealed for all primary schools to write a pledge to the environment and then pledge what the children would like their council to do to help make necessary changes to help with the Climate Crisis. These leaves will be delivered to local council offices so the pupil voice is heard ahead on the COP26 summit which takes place in November. All classes took part and you can read some of their examples. They have learned that by taking small steps at a local level they can have a big impact.
