Anti bullying Week 2022 - Reach Out!
This year the theme for ‘Anti bullying Week’ was REACH OUT!
Our P1 children discussed the importance of reaching out when they need some help from either their safe adults or their friends. They talked about times when they reached out and times when they offered help to others by showing kindness.
We also talked about our feelings this week and how they can help us decide when it is a good time to reach out. We used our Ginger Bear masks to help us .
Everyone entered an Anti Bullying week poster competition. Our fantastic P1 boys and girls were invited to draw a picture of what they thought ‘reaching out’ looked like.
They were all wonderful and the pastoral care team selected Rian as the P1 winner.
The pastoral care team were also looking for that extra expression of kindness this week and took time to go undercover during playtime to choose one person from each class. It must have been a very difficult choice as all our P1 children are always very kind, but one boy went above and beyond this week and was awarded with a kindness certificate. Well done Noah.
Congratulations to all our P1 boys and girls for all your hard work this week.
