Last Thursday evening our P1 pupils returned to school for a P1 pyjama storytelling session. There was such a buzz coming into school in their pyjamas, accompanied by their favourite teddy bear and pillow. After a lovely hot snack and hot chocolate the pupils nestled down for a lovely bedtime story. During this time their hardworking parents were in the school hall with Mrs Mc Ardle to participate in an Active Maths session. Parents were introduced to some of the number concepts we use for counting in P1 and found out how to use the numicon resource which is often sent home for use at homework time. It was a very enjoyable evening!
