Today our P1 children had the lovely experience of meeting Dr. Daly. Dr. Daly is a dentist and one of our P1 parents.
As we are exploring people who can help us in our community, she very kindly agreed to come into our school, tell us about her job and the best way to look after our teeth.
The children thoroughly enjoyed trying on the gloves that dentists wear, brushing the dinosaurs teeth and asking lots of questions.
Dr. Daly also gave every child a little gift bag with a toothbrush, a brushing timer, a tooth fairy colouring activity, a tooth fairy pouch and stickers.
I hope everyone remembers to brush all the surfaces of their teeth tonight for 2 minutes.
