This week P1 welcomed Jill from RISE NI, who is delivering a 4 week attention and listening programme in our classroom. During week 1 we listened to a story about Winnie the Pooh, Tigger and Eeyore. In class we want to be like Winnie the Pooh, listening and moving carefully around the classroom. We also practiced some activities to help us concentrate in class, to develop our attention and listening skills. We really loved playing the mouse game, when we had to catch our mouse when Jill said the word cat. Jill tried to trick us so we had to listen very carefully for the target word. We look forward to Jill's visit next week.
