As part of our food topic, we read the story 'Handa's Surprise.' As the story is full of exotic fruits, we thought it would be fun to try some new and exciting healthy fruits. We used all our senses to try and guess which fruit was in the bowl. We were very brave to try avocado, passion fruit, mango, pomegranate and papaya. Mango was definitely our favourite! Next we used a tree diagram to sort the fruits into those we did and those we did not like.
