The Pastoral Care Team and Eco Council, had a very enjoyable trip to Stormont Parliament Buildings on Monday 5th February. Pupils listened to an interesting presentation on the role of MLAs and discussed how their teams work in Dromintee Primary School. Pupils met local MLA Megan Fearon and had the opportunity to question her about her job and even found out where she sits in the Chamber. Pupils also voted in favour of abolishing school uniforms, with 14 out of 18 votes. Luckily for parents this hasn’t been ratified by Mrs McKeown yet, so we look forward to seeing all our pupils returning to school in their green jumpers tomorrow!
