We have been learning all about fairy-tales. We have been very busy talking about the ingredients we would need to write an amazing story during Literacy, learning about positional language in Numeracy and learning about the parts of a castle in our World Around Us Lessons. We explored many of our favourite fairy-tales during Plan-Do-Review. We made princesses and the Three Billy Goats from playdough and wrote our own versions of the stories we read at the Writing Table. We even took part in a STEM challenge to try and make the Three Little Pigs some new houses that could withstand the huffs and puffs of The Big Bad (Hairdryer) Wolf. The Princes and Princesses of Primary Two planned and hosted a special snack-time banquet. We made crowns and decorated the classroom with flags. We had so much fun! And then we all lived happily, ever, after….
