We had a lovely morning on Tuesday 5th December when Declan Carville visited our school to do a book signing. The children were very excited and were so interested in what he had to say to them. Some children shared their dreams of becoming authors and illustrators and were delighted to have the opportunity to get their photograph taken with Declan. We are so proud of the wonderful display of their book The Ring of Gullion as it showcases beautifully the creativity of the children in Dromintee. We hope that this visit will further encourage the children to keep reading and writing and we have no doubt that we have budding authors and illustrators of the future in our school.
